  1. نغسل العدس ونضع في حله عليه ماء وفلفل وكمون ونضعه على النار ⅓ ساعة.
  2. نغسل الارز وبعد ⅓ ساعة نضعه على العدس ونحمر الشعيرية ونضعها على الارز والعدس ونقلب جيداً ونظبط مقدار الماء ونضع الملح ولما يشرب الماء نهدى النار ونتركه يستوي.
  3. الحمص يكون منقوع قبلها ب 6 ساعة وبعدها نغير الماء عليه ونضعه على النار ونضع عليه الملح والكمون.
  4. نضع الماء في حله ونتركه ليغلى على النار نضع الملح والزيت والمعكرونه وتترك لتستوى مع التقليب حتى لا تلصق.
  5. في الخلاط نفرم الطماطم والفلفل الرومي والبصلة.
  6. في حلة على النار نضع بها الزيت والثوم ونقلبه ليحمر قليلا وننزل بعصير الطماطم ومعلقة الصلصة والملح والفلفل والشطة ونتركه يتسبك.
  7. نرش الملح على البصل ونضع طاسة على النار ونضع بها الزيت وعليه البصل مباشرتا (الزيت بارد) ونقلب في البصل ونهدى النار ونفضل نقلب في البصل حتى ياخذ اللون المطلوب.
